This last month I have been on an emotional rollercoaster concerning all aspects of my life.
To know pain is human. To need is human. And, no amount of money, influence, resources, or sheer determination will change our physical, emotional, and spiritual dependence on others. - Unknown.
Within the past couple of weeks, I have spoken to many individuals in regards to what they want to do next for their future; It’s funny because every single one of them have something and/or an overall goal in mind, but they are not certain on their decision yet. Thinking about it now, and the more I talk about it as well, I’m in the same position as them. What has enlightened me to induce my focus on this topic is all because of a podcast I recently listened to, and the notable question that was asked, “what paradox do you hold yourself to?”
We have a chance everyday to start fresh, begin something new, and to seek alternatives to better ourselves. Though, we live in a world where there are so many kinds of morals, beliefs, and culture that it derives our minds to vary in concern to what is right or wrong.
We experience life and take them as either lessons or just a piece of our past. The thing is, how do you shape the past to how you are now?
Lately, I have had a recurring thought of finding “the one” and/or my “soulmate” for quite sometime now. I can say without a doubt that I have said, I have finally found “the one” and/or my “soulmate” a few times, and I find it hilarious that I actually believed it.
Today is the day where majority of all individuals take the time to self-reflect concerning their year. They will perhaps see what was good or bad, and how they want to make New Year’s resolutions in order to foresee a better year than the last.
Has someone ever told you that they are unsure whether to be with you due to an age difference? How come when that question arises it causes such a negative stigma; just because one may have lived a couple more years than you?
I decided to post a journal entry I have written in an actual journal of mine, as I do strongly believe in what I had to say.
Law of attraction. To those who are unaware of law of attraction, I highly recommend reading or watching the documentary, The Secret written by Rhonda Byrne. However, I definitely believe in law of attraction and I am going to add in karma as well. I highly believe that karma is a b*tch... if you deserve it. Shifting this post more towards another view now. It's funny - I decided to write all of this on a plane travelling to Vancouver. It was such a sudden thought, and all you know... I basically wrote a speech. |
